Johnny Depp

Yep I'm Doing it. I'm Writing about Johnny Depp. The blog is called the 'randomness of it all' right? So, I'm gonna write about my favorite actor of forever, also known as the most versatile actor of his generation.

I'm a die hard Johnny fan. I would watch anything that has him featured in it. Even if it is just his voice, it counts too. He is such a talented actor, can take the role of almost every abnormal thing/person you can think of.I even cringe nowadays when he acts like an actual normal person.
For a person who doesn't say much, he sure puts his all into whatever he puts his mind to. He has been nominated for 3 oscars (academy awards) for three very different movies as a leading man. His first oscar nod was in the movie pirates of the caribbean (if you haven't seen this movie- your loss), he was funny as hell. I dont think there would have been a better jack sparrow. Second oscar nomination was for Finding Neverland, where he played the Role of Jmaes Barrie, the author of the peter pan adventures. The role seemed pretty normal but jmaes barrie was a man child and so johnny played it ever so well. 3rd nod was for Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber on Fleet Street, where he played a venge-filled barber. also very good and very out of the ordinary.

If you have a weird and maybe twisted role, johnny is the to-go man. He and Tim Burton have worked together countless times to bring us the Johnny we all love. They both did: Edward Scissorhands ( We all love this movie), Ed Wood, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Corpse Bride, Sweeney Todd, Alice in Wonderland. (Note Tim Burton is also his best friend- weridos huh!)

So, How much I love Johnny i sometimes forget he is an American from the south- kentucky to be precise. All his oscar nominations were gotten when he played a brit. he does it so well i cringe when i hear him talk in an american accent. it sincerely is weird.

Also go see The Tourist in theaters. It's Him and Angelina Jolie (for the record, she is a terrific actor even if she is a husband snatcher and it is really weird that they have not done a movie together seeing how talented they are).
